Become a Friend
Do you want to support the Centraal Museum? You can do so as a Friend – from as little as €60 per year.
Friend of Centraal Museum
With the support of our Friends, we create the most beautiful exhibitions, organize creative activities, and preserve our collection for the future.
As a Friend:
- Do you always get free admission to the Centraal Museum, the miffy museum and the Rietveld Schröder House with your friends pass (with reservation).
- You get access to all exhibitions, with no extra charge.
- Twice a year, you get to be the first to visit the new exhibition, with an explanation from the curator.
- Get 10% off the most beautiful gifts in the museum shop (excluding books and discounted items).
- Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or lunch at Museum café Centraal with a 10% discount.
- And you’ll receive the exclusive Friends newsletter four times a year, full of inspiration, sneak previews and other extras.
Would you like to become a Friend together with your partner, daughter, father or housemate? Then sign up together as Duo-Friends: €90 per year for two people at the same address. You’ll then enjoy all of the above benefits together.
Become a Compaan
Would you like to give the Centraal Museum something extra? For example, are you already a Friend but would you like to be more involved in the museum’s activities? With a donation of €350 per year, you become a Compaan.
As Compaan:
- You’ll receive a VIP Pass that lets you visit the Centraal Museum, the miffy museum and the Rietveld Schröder House for free with two people.
- You’re welcome at exclusive openings at the museum.
- Twice a year you can take part in the art programme, curated especially for our private donors. For example, a studio visit or a guided tour by one of our curators.
- You get access to all exhibitions, with no extra charge.
- Get 10% off the most beautiful gifts in the museum shop (with the exception of discounted items).
- Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or lunch at Café Centraal with a 10% discount.
- And you’ll also receive the exclusive Friends newsletter four times a year, packed with inspiration, sneak previews and other extras.
Tax benefits
There may be tax benefits available when you make a donation. In addition, you don’t pay gift tax on donations. The full amount therefore goes to the museum.
