A guided tour for people with dementia and their loved ones
During this guided tour, we will look at a number of artworks together and discuss them with one another. By sharing stories, memories, associations and ideas, we bring the artworks to life together. Enjoying art is at the heart of the experience.

About the development of the program
The Unforgettable programme was developed in 2013 by the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, inspired by the Museum of Modern Art in New York’s Meet Me at MoMA programme. With financial support from the Gieskes Strijbis Fund, an implementation and training programme was developed, enabling several Dutch museums to set up this programme as well.
