Anastasia van Gennip Appointed new Managing Director

Anastasia van Gennip is currently Managing Director of the Van Abbemuseum, a leading museum of contemporary art in Eindhoven. News of her departure was met with words of sincere appreciation for all she has done, support and best wishes for the future. Over the past 11.5 years, Van Gennip has played a key role in the Van Abbemuseum’s continued development as a progressive and socially engaged institution. Both museums place particular emphasis on accessibility, broadening their audiences and connecting with the cities in which they are based. With her appointment, the Centraal Museum gains an executive with extensive expertise in cultural entrepreneurship, organisational development and museum innovation.
