Austrian-Nigerian designer Kenneth Ize grew up in Vienna. He completed various fashion courses before settling in Lagos (Nigeria) in 2016 and starting his own fashion label. By working with local weavers and designers, Ize aims to preserve traditional craft techniques and stimulate local production. His nomination as a finalist for the LVMH Prize in 2019 led to a successful collaboration with international couture brand Karl Lagerfeld the following year. [text 2025]
