Droog Design
Droog werd in 1993 opgericht door Renny Ramakers en Gijs Bakker met als doel Nederlandse vormgeving te promoten. De eerste Droog presentaties in Paradiso in Amsterdam en tijdens de Salone del Mobile in Milaan werden een wereldwijd succes. Droog stond op de kaart. De werken die de stichting promoot onderscheiden zich door het nuchtere, ironische en conceptuele karakter. Het was een springplank voor jonge ontwerpers als Hella Jongerius, Richard Hutten en Marcel Wanders.

- De vaas betwist de noodzaak opnieuw een perfect funcyionerende vorm te ontwerpen. De ontwerper heeft de vorm van een antieke vaas genomen en deze uitgevoerd in zacht polyeurethaan. Alle sporen van het maakproces zijn zichtbaar evenals luchtbellen en onregelmatigheden.
