Adya van Rees-Dutilh

Adya van Rees-Dutilh maakt borduurwerken, wandtapijten en schilderijen. Na haar academietijd in Brussel ontmoet ze in 1903 haar echtgenoot, de kunstenaar Otto van Rees. Gedurende hun leven samen in Frankrijk, Italie en Zwitserland maken ze deel uit van de internationale voorhoede van de moderne kunst, waaronder het kubisme in Parijs en dada in Zürich. In 1949 verhuist ze terug naar Nederland, waar ze zich vestigt in Utrecht.
