Looking at art and learning Dutch
The Language Café gives people who have only recently moved to the Netherlands the opportunity to practise their Dutch and discover the city's art.
During a guided tour, participants discuss what they see, allowing them to practise their Dutch. Connecting with others is key: by looking at art, residents of an asylum seekers’ centre in Utrecht get to know the city, its art and the Dutch language.
For this initiative, the Centraal Museum is collaborating with Welkom in Utrecht and the Einsteindreef asylum seekers' centre.
